The Rebel Pink New Zealand Tour

We’re about to head off on our first ever tour with Footnote’s all-new company dancers and excitement couldn’t be higher here in the Tarrant Dance Studios.
Rehearsals are underway for the three individual works that make up The Rebel Pink tour by Eliza Sanders, Holly Newsome and Nancy Wijohn. These three emerging choreographers, along with curator Malia Johnston, musician Tom Scrase, and the rest of the team are injecting a lively, punchy energy into their New Original Works that will be performed in parks, theatres and streets across Aotearoa.

The Rebel Pink provides three emerging choreographers with an opportunity to create New Original Work in a world conjured by New Zealand dance luminary Malia Johnston, designer extraordinaire Marcus McShane and world class drummer/musician Tom Scrase (ex-Strike).
