The Home of Footnote New Zealand Dance
Footnote New Zealand Dance is based out of studios in the heart of Wellington City. You can find us at 80 Cuba St, just down the street from Footnote’s iconic home of 36 years.
The dance studios are available to hire on evenings and weekends, with occasional longer term hires available on weekdays when the company is on tour during the year.
Studio One
Studio One is the larger studio of the two and has a permanent dance floor installed.
8.2m x 14m
Tarkett dance floor + sprung floor - no heeled shoes allowed in this studio.
Includes sound system, heat pump, mirrors and portable ballet barres.
Access to kitchen, bathrooms and greenroom.
Studio Two
Studio Two is the smaller studio of the two and has a chip board floor.
7.6m x 7.7m
Chip board wood + sprung floor - dance shoes allowed.
Includes sound system, heat pump, mirrors and portable ballet barres.
Access to kitchen, bathroom and greenroom.
Please note that the studios are currently only accessible via stairs. Accessible dance studios for hire are available across the road at Te Auaha.
