Announcing our Lifeworld (in five parts) tour!

Everyone at Footnote New Zealand Dance has a spring in their step at the moment: we hope you are emerging from the depths of winter with similar conviction. We are so delighted to reveal to you now our plans for the tour of Footnote’s major work for 2016, Claire O’Neil’s Lifeworld (in five parts). Coming to a life/world near you in October and November, tickets for all centres are now on sale, and you’ll need to get in quick if you want to take advantage of earlybird adult pricing. Tickets start at just $20.

Our Lifeworld tour looks like this:

Wellington, October 19, Opera House
Palmerston North, October 21, Globe Theatre
Gisborne, October 25, War Memorial Theatre
New Plymouth, October 28, 4th Wall Theatre
Hamilton, November 2, The Meteor
Auckland, November 4, Q Theatre

We will be sharing more information about Lifeworld (in five parts) through Facebook and other social media channels in the coming weeks, but we know you, our community, will love this work. Moulding together incredible movement, humour, social commentary and emotion in a way that is typically Claire, we are really proud of Lifeworld and want to share it with as many people as we can around the country.

“But it means something… doesn’t it? You mean something… don’t you? Do ya know what you mean…? I wanna know what you mean… what do you mean, you don’t know what I mean?!” –The Narrator
