ChoreoCo 2016: Who Are We Now?
Who Are We Now? gives life to the poetry of the everyday person, investigating and reflecting on conformity, sorrow, joy and freedom in a series of physical stanzas.
This collaboration between one choreographer and six dance-makers has been constructed over a three week combustion of creativity. Who Are We Now? embodies the spirit of the Fringe and Footnote's mandate to support experimental work from established choreographers. It is a celebration of life, and the vibrancy, levity and joy that occurs when we push through the difficult or predictable and connect to a wild energy, and something a little more….
