ChoreoCo 2019: Nobody Hears The Axe Fall
Left unsaid there is a world that exists between us all, we carry memories that shape our lives in moments of realisation, trauma and ecstatic joy.
Our bodies process the chaos and experience of our lives in dreams, making sense of a world that can at times seem on the point of implosion. Nobody Hears the Axe Fall is a series of images from a turbulent world where a recognition of mortality and a celebration of life fuse into a body in tension. Throw away your watches, turn off your phones, finish your drinks. Your hands should be empty, palms turned towards the sky, take off your shoes and socks, take a deep, slow breath and be present with us tonight. Come crashing through the floor with us on a journey to the dark world of this collective dream. Tumble and spill onto the stage, share your voice and murmur with us, groan and cry for all that has been and is to come.
