Join our Footnote whānau! Footnote New Zealand Dance is excited to announce that the company is seeking expressions of interest from male or non-binary individuals for the position of full-time, fixed term, professional dancer for 2023. The role will encompass the development and performance of new dance works, national and international touring, festival performances and professional development opportunities. Contracts will run 9 January - 21 October and are based in Pōneke Wellington.

Please note that applicants should have graduated from a tertiary contemporary dance programme to be eligible (unless they can demonstrate significant industry experience). Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand in 2022 to be considered for this position. Footnote respects all Ministry of Health guidelines relating to COVID-19 and will require all new employees to be fully vaccinated by January 10th 2022.
