Boost Footnote to Canada!
The Impossible Has Already Happened brings together two nations’ stories of water amid a global climate crisis. Choreographers Claire O’Neil (NZ) and Jennifer Mascall (Canada) investigate the power and purpose of water.
Water sustains, nourishes, disrupts and dazzles our planet. It draws parallels to our flowing lives, stagnated situations, and the presence of being. With a sense of urgency, this work highlights our precious natural resource.
Both Footnote New Zealand Dance and MascallDance bring this vision to life. Marcus McShane, one of NZ’s most prolific designers is working on Lighting and Set Design. The team is completed with Jason Wright who is creating an outstanding Sound alongside Kathleen Nisbet, and Anne De Geus on Costume.
The Impossible Has Already Happened will be going on tour around Canada for 4 weeks in November 2023.
