Bill Nelson: Profile

This week Footnote New Zealand Dance is collaborating with Wellington poet Bill Nelson in a special performance at Museum of Wellington City & Sea. Below is a little information about Bill –  we’ve really enjoyed this creative process with him, and look forward to our two lunch time performances in such a wonderful Wellington cultural space .

In 2009, Bill Nelson studied creative writing at Victoria University where he was awarded the Biggs Poetry Prize. His work has appeared in Sport, Hue and Cry, Shenandoah, Minarets, 4th Floor, Swamp and Black Mail Press. He was a writer in The Sparks Fly Upwards, a response to artworks at City Gallery Wellington and in Against the Prevailing Winds, an exhibition for the Courtenay Place light boxes. He is also a writer and co-editor at Up Country.

Performances: Wednesday 27th & Thursday 28th, 12.30pm.
